Fifty Years is an amazing VC firm backed by 46 founders of $1B+ tech companies who want to help the next generation of founders change the world for the better. They back founders using technology to solve the world’s biggest problems: the climate crisis, disease, connectivity, malnutrition, and more. Companies started by Fifty Years investors include: Dropbox, Twitch, Klarna, Spotify, Skype, GitHub and many more.
Our Approach
Big leaders always have big ideas. It's only fitting that this campaign involved a MASSIVE 120ft backdrop, complete with graphics and animations, all to drive home the many concepts and initiatives Fifty Years brought to startups.
Being the pioneers they are, Fifty Years and SIEGE teamed up to launch a spectacular feature release campaign.
(VISION & INNOVATION)
We wanted to transform the "world" that Fifty years was in, which also communicated the vision and scale for the concept. The viewers would be immersed in information around them, providing a sense of 360 degree support for their projects, startup companies and scale of their business, in collaboration with Fifty Years.
(CHALLENGES)
Our challenge was figuring out a way to convey the absolutely GRAND scale of both who Fifty Years is as an organization, and the excellent features that were being rolled out. Eventually, we came around to the idea of having an endless looking backdrop, giving a larger than live representation.
With this idea, the whole 120ft canvas would be the background, like having a whiteboard the size of a building. The themes for each speaker would flow around the presenter, and transform as the ideas came to light. It was equally amazing to see the background in action as everything came together.

Client Needs
Fifty Years let us know that SCALE is important. In early concepts, that was the main building block to the campaign. For a successful VC firm such as Fifty Years, we took this to heart. As a result of this need, we created a 120ft backdrop with full scale animations, in collaboration with the Fifty Years design team.
Conclusion
Fifty Years is a blast to work with, and we look forward to their amazing continued success. We can't wait to see what they do next!
